Let's make a massage chair. I'd like it in graphite, and the design should be all rounded so a person sinks into it. The design motif is Le Corbusier

Built the geometry. 20 part types, 47 parameters. Still not plausible. The geometry below is wrong. Moved the calf module slide arms inboard and lower so they no longer cut into the side bolsters, and shifted the seat-line cage cross rail forward and down out of the calf module shell. Also tied the previously unused parameters (module width, door opening, recline angles, seat pan tilt, rear wall clearance, tube offset, stability factor) into real geometry or rewrote the constraints that referenced them. Not applied · backrest_angle_park / backrest_angle_max as driven geometry — The IR has no articulated joints, so the recline angles cannot rotate any part. They are now only exercised through the recline-sweep and zero-g tilt constraints rather than shaping a body.

I think the outer finish should be leather, and can't we get rid of the metal bar behind the head? And the cuboid behind the back seems unnecessary too?

Changed the outer finish to leather (cushion cover leather_black), and deleted the upper cross rail that ran behind the head (cage_top_rail) along with the massage carriage cuboid behind the back and the guide rails inside it. Also cleaned up the constraints and parameters that referenced parameters not reflected in the geometry.

Of those two metal bars in front, let's delete the upper one. And the things attached on both sides — should I call them wings? I'd like a design where they're filled all the way down to the bottom part. side bolster with closed arm trough — is that what it's called. The bottom of it looks a bit cut off, so extend it down to the bottom so it's extruded.

Deleted the upper one of the two front cross bars (seat line cage cross rail, z 170–210), and extended the bottom of the left and right side_bolster profiles down to the floor side (top of base, z=150) to remove the cut-off look at the bottom. Not reflected · Reflecting the backrest_length(850) parameter in the geometry — the backrest curve length is currently determined by Bezier control points, and the schema has no formula means to directly constrain a curve's arc length as a parameter. It is being managed instead via the backrest top height (back_top_height), so this parameter remains unreflected.

01Overview

A single-seat powered massage lounge chair for the home, developed as a furniture object rather than an appliance. The brief is a graphite-toned, softly rounded volume that the sitter sinks into — shoulders, arms and calves all enclosed — so the chair reads as an upholstered lounge piece even with a massage mechanism inside the backrest.

The formal motif is Le Corbusier, resolved as a Grand Confort reading: plump graphite cushion blocks captured in a slim satin stainless cage that traces the whole outline, with the LC4's continuous body-following cradle line surviving in the section of the back and calf module. The massage hardware disappears inside the cushion masses; the cage is the one honest structural gesture and the place every upholstery seam terminates.

It is a full-size flagship at 900 mm wide and 1,350 mm deep in the park position, extending to about 1,900 mm at full zero-gravity recline. It is intended for a living room or study in a Korean apartment, used seated for 15–30 minute sessions by adults of mixed stature, so it must look acceptable as the main piece of furniture in the room when nobody is in it.
