This is a two-story detached house that follows the architectural language of Renzo Piano. It features a lightweight steel frame mounted on a 1,200mm modular grid, treating the roof as a "light-filtering machine" where the structure, fixtures, and shading are fully exposed rather than concealed. Instead of heavy walls, slender columns, large glass surfaces, and deep eaves blur the boundary between the interior and exterior. Designed for a family of three to four, the gross floor area is approximately 180㎡. The first floor serves as a common level for the living room, dining room, and kitchen; its south-facing facade is floor-to-ceiling glass and seamlessly connects to a 3,000mm deep deck. The second floor is a private level housing three bedrooms, with a reduced building footprint compared to the first floor to leave a spacious yard. The roof is a sawtooth-shaped skylight featuring repeating north-facing toplights.
